Ctrl-R is not working on my computer (Windows 7 pre-release). Please e-mail me at owner@nccomputing.ca on how to resolve this problem. Version 5.3.1 works for Ctrl-R but 5.4.4 does not bring anything up when you click Ctrl-R

Do you have TextFX installed? If not, this is expected
If you have TextFX, check the TextFX Quick submenu, it has a Find/Replace command. You can always use this entry, but see what is the shortcut key being shown. If it is not Ctrl+R, then perhaps use Shortcut mapper to adjust it to your convenience.

Thank you for your answer but really even after reading this document (I had already seen this doc.) I haven't seen something about a multiple line replace (not about the newline character)
homesite has two lines in his multiple line replacement (one below the other).

In homesite there was a beautiful feature:
find and replace multiple lines
Is there a possibility this feature will be added in Notepad++ in a next release?

Use the CTRL+R Find/Replace Dialog. You can manually enter newline characters in both the Find and Replace Field by pressing CTRL+M or CTRL+Enter.
If you select multiple lines and then press CTRL+R to open the dialog, you probably will see the selected lines in the Find Field.
thank you.
I'll give it a try.
