I believe I've discovered a bug, possibly involving wordwrap. What I am experiencing is that, when multiple files are open [for simplicities sake in my example will be 2], going from one TAB to another and then BACK results in the scrollbars position will not be where I left it. Let me show you what I mean.....
Note: This behavior is very strange coming from Textpad. It's not relevant to just being at the end of a document and can occur anywhere. Sometimes it jumps back to the top of the document, sometimes it jumps back up to the start of the line. Either way, the position is NOT preserved.
Tested on XP with notepad++ 3.9, 4.2, 4.3, 4.5, and 4.6 . Thank you for your consideration.

Strange Behavior
In this first picture I have an open file with word wrap on. Notice that the scrollbar is all the way at the bottom:

Next, I click the tab adjacent to the one currently selected:

Finally, I click back to my original file. Notice that the scroll bar has moved all the way to the top [in larger files, it will scroll up a percent] :
