How to set "#" as line comment for SQL syntax

How can I set "#" as the line comment symbol for SQL syntax highlighting?

I've tried editing the appropriate entries in langs.xml and stylers.xml in both the %ProgramFiles% and %AppData% directories, but it has no effect.
