    Hello Notepad++ User,

I finished a new spell check plug-in to find your typos ;). This plug-in is based on GNU Aspell. More informations are available on installation of plug-in.

    Download the plug-in here:

    Best Regards

This is really nice. Excellent job!

Is it possible to add a new button "Ignore All"?

BTW, is the "Lern" button spelled correctly?

      Thanks,
      Podi

No, you are correct. Stupid... LOL. I will change it with next release. It comes asap, because I found some other unwanted behaviours.

        Best Regards
        Jens

I downloaded the plug-in but do not know how to within Notepad++
I followed the instructions below, but what do I do to get it to work within Notepad??

          Latest Version: GNU Aspell-0.50.3 (win32)

Full installer (Released Dec 22, 2002)
          Precompiled dictionaries:
Installation: Install Aspell first, then run the wordlist setup.

Thanks for the spell checker, it is really GREAT to have.  I second the recommendations of the previous post about Ignore All and am also curious about Lern.

      Regarding Ignore All:
IMO this button is useless. For me is this button like pressing on "Cancel", because you finish the spell check.

      Best Regards

        Jen,

About the "Ignore All" button. It can be useful to ignore all occurrences of a particular word(s) but not to end the entire spell check session. For example, I want to ignore a set of acronyms in my file while I don't want to add to my dictionary.

        MS Outlook has this button.

        Thanks,
        Podi

        Sample document (exaggerated):

This is a spell checker checker test for strange words: BLUB BLUB BLUE BLUB BLUD BLUD BLUD BLUD BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB. And in the middle there are some blocks of valid sentences. BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB BLUD BLUB. Imagine a big file. Now it comes a set of words that make some sense.
