    Hi,

I didn't receive any feedback from the help forum so I hope no one minds me posting here as well. I think I have found a small bug in the find behavior. When searching for text with the word wrap on the screen will not scroll to the found text to make it visible. I was searching through an OpenOffice.org file which is an xml file that contains only two lines. The second line is quite long - 3000+ columns when wrap is turned off - and I did a find for some text. The find will respond and says that it has found matches, but never moves the screen down to make it visible. It does highlight the text as it should and I can manually scroll the screen to see the text. It probably isn't anything that is run across very often, but the regular Windows notepad does perform the same task as desired.

    Thanks,

    Mike E.

Here a report of similar behavior: I have the the window showing the end of the lines of my text, instead of the beginning. I search for and find a certain word and the screen/window is moved to show the cursor position, being at the end of the found word. However, I do not see the word itself, because it is on the part of the line left to the visible part/window on it. The window on the file is moved back to show the cursor, but not the word itself.

Please make sure, if a word is found, to always show the beginning of the found word, possibly overriding this by the desire to always show the end of the word and the cursor there.
