    Hi, visitors of the Forum!

I build new icons to file supported by the Notepad++, are 55 icons. The icons there is Notepad++ logo and the type of file. I built too, a installer to icons (built with Inno Setup) with it is possible choose which icon(s) you want use.

The icons have transparency so is probable that it don't work in any OS (Win98 for example).

I don't have any server to release the pack to download, but who has interest I'm disposed to send for email.

    my email : ricardo.crudo@yahoo.com.br

    I think worthwhile try!

    Regards,
    Ricardo Crudo.

It's not like safe to download your executable binary.
I don't know is it the spam or there's virus inside.

I keep this thread but I suggest you DO NOT download the executable file.

        Don

      Yeah, cool.

However, now that I've uninstalled your icons I've lost lots of file associations. Any idea how I can reset them (easily)?

    • Nobody/Anonymous

yes cool, but say looks only in 32x32 good, in 16x16 not so ...

You can use the options of Notepad++ for remake the associations.

Settings >>> Preference >>> File Association

Or to other application, you can make so :

right click in the file, hint properties and change Open with : ... (choose the program that you want)

That's what I was afraid of.

It would be nice if uninstalling actually reverted the associations so that I don't have to do it one by one. Jeez...

Yes, you have reason. I now work in this.

      Thanks!

I know that this not is the better solution, but can help, until our colleague resolve the problem!

Make a backup of the registry (only HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT), before of install the icons.

      - Click on Start/Run
      - Type "regedit" (without quotes)
      - right click in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
      - click in export and choose a local to save

      Done, your information are safe!

If you want uninstall the icons, uninstall them! and after double click in the backup file that you make.

      Ok peoples?!
      bye!
