Notepad++ has some nice features, but I'm missing a good codepage detection. For example when a text file starts with a lot of 7-Bit characters and only later the Asian/Eastern European characters appear it will be detected as ANSI!
I think the way UltraEdit-32 does this is grand. Especially because I can manually choose the codepage from a huge list, which doesn't seem to be possible in Notepad++ at all... does N++ support anything except ANSI/UTF-8?
