np++5.4.5UNICODE, ftp_sync0.9.6.1 on any ftp if I try to download/edit a file that contains at least two dots in its name eg. my.first.class.php, I get error message, and the file does not get opened

np++5.3.1UNICODE, ftp_sync0.9.6.1 same situation, but other result: all files in that folder and its parent folder get opened

I was wrong, it does not download any other files, but opens
all files in FTP_syncronize/current_ftp/*.* during the mentioned bug with np++5.3.1UNICODE

now I have no idea about the rule of filenames which causes this error,
i have only examples (see above)

no only "at least two dot" problem:

      en-GB.com_webshop.ini OK
      ... OK
      en-GB.com_webshop.ini_nou OK
      en-GB.com_webshop.ini_nous BUG
      en-GB.com_webshop.ini_nouse BUG

(still trying to rename my files, to be able to read)
      en-GB.com_webshop.ini_nou OK  (17/11 char name/ext)
      en-GB.com_webshop.ini_nous BUG (17/12 char name/ext)
      desktop_order.php.tpl OK (17/3 char name/ext)
      desktop_order.phpm.tpl BUG (18/3 char name/ext)

Solved: The local path was too long, so<br>
    1) I made a "tmp" dir on drive C<br>
    2) And set C:\tmp at "Use nondefault cache location if non provided by profile"
in the General tab of the ftp_syncronize settings.<br>
    3a) Finally I moved all subdirectories from <npp program dir>/plugins/FTP_synchronize/ to C:\tmp\
3b) You can simply delete <npp program dir>/plugins/FTP_synchronize/
without moving it to C:\tmp, if you are sure all data on your ftp is up-to-date

(sorry, I was not familiar with "two spaces and enter at the end of line")
