Hi there:

Thanks for developing Notepad++. Cool!

However, I don't use it. It's so powerful, yet it's a pain in the ass and very slow to delete rather long text strings when we press the Del key and keep it down as compared to, say, doing the same thing using Programmer's Notepad (http://www.pnotepad.org/). Please, note that this kind of deletion option is sometimes handier and faster to achieve than dragging the mouse pointer down/across a page for text selection and deletion. So I would love it if this specific Del function were improved for speed.
