It will great if I could launch Notepad++ from command line with wildcard in the filename (p.e. notepad++ c:\*.log)

I think it's comments like yours and the comments that Don himself made in the post you linked to that really turn me off from this editor.
Why would I want to support people that don't have the common decency to be civil?
AFAIK, "notepad++.exe a.html b.html" works in v4.9 (thanks to Harry).
I'll consider the wildcards support (without any promise).

However, remember that this project is shared entirely free and you are free to use it or not.
In this point of view I don't think it's appropriated to reclaim your feature.

Whether he is kidding or not, I think it's good if someone stays away from these forums if het doesn't like or doesn't use Notepad++. It's better than having a lot of Chinese people complaining about someone else's opinion.
