Is there a way to start a new line without the indent scheme used in a previous line?
I do like the feature of remembering indent from one line to the next, but I haven't found a convenient way to tell Noepad++ to forget about the indenting.

No problem ! Since the v6.4.4 version, you just have to use the menu option Edit - Line Operations - Insert Blank Line Below Current or use the default shortcut
( Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Enter )
You can, also, use the other menu option Edit - Line Operations - Insert Blank Line Above Current or use the default shortcut ( Ctrl + Alt + Enter )
If you don't like the default shortcuts, for these two options, you may change them :
Open the Shortcut's Manager ( menu Settings - Shortcut Mapper... )
Click on the Main tab, if necessary
Go to the lines 53 and/or 54 ( for the last v6.2.2 release )
Double-click to change the default shortcuts
Et voilà ! Isn't that simple ?

That's awesome, thank you! Yes, I must have had some earlier version, because I had tried all permutations of Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Enter and did not get the desired result. I installed the latest version and changed the shortcuts to Ctrl + Enter and Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
