Hi there, thanks for the very nice program.

I am seriously considering to use Notepad++ as my main editor.

May I make some suggestions ...

    1. I think after "replace all" is done, the MsgBox of # tokens are replaced is redundant and cliking on the OK button is kind of pain. Just message on status bar will be nicer. So you don't have to click on the button and still see the information.

    2. In options menu, language tab, multiple selection should be provided. Every languages are selected as default, and it is pain to remove a lot of not frequently used languages.

    3. About column selection mode, I think it is more comfortable to have toggle style(like Editplus/Ultraedit) rather then the method Notepad++ is now using. When selecting a lot of things, it is easy to make mistake.

    4. Replace all with huge data file (+5mb) takes forever. However I think that cannot be avoided in free editors .. I have tested 10+ editors and only UltraEdit and EditPlus were lightning fast in those situations.

Back to compliments. Some of TextFX functions are amazing too.

I'm using EditPlus as my main editor at the moment, and I wish that I could combine the two editors .. it would be perfect .. :)

Here we go again! This has been discussed before. There are also people who _want_ this message and not on the status bar, because it may disappear by any unintended or unattended action. So please read back on the forum to find more replies to your request.

      >2. ...

I guess I've read that before, too. Did you repost a previous message? If so: why???

I guess you can. Just try. Good luck in doing so. Bye.

        Once again :
If it really bothers you, and you don't provide a constructive answer, then don't bother to reply.
Such post is irritated, then will removed as spam.

        Don

Wow. What a rude reply (the second one). No I haven't seen the post before, but I do have seen mentions of those rude attitude in this forum.

If you don't have anything productive to reply, then just shut up and don't write anything. Maybe the allowance of Nobody/Anonymous posting is the problem ..

Dang now I have some bad feelings about this editor .. thank you.
