NotePad++ is a wonderful editor that I don' want to miss any more. Just a short hint what can be improved:
N++ is trying to restore the old screen position that it had when it was closed for the last time. This goes wrong in the following case: I used to have two monitors and opened N++ on the second one. Some day I had to turn off the second monitor and N++ did not appear on the screen any more, except in maximized mode. So I would suggest to implement a check on startup, whether the stored position is valid, before overtaking it. Thank you! :-)

I have the same problem with dual screen... A solution has already be posted here http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4271040
The solution is "open the "config.xml" file (either in the Notepad++ install directory or in %APPDATA%/Notepad++) in regular Notepad, change the AppPosition's "x" value to "0", and save. Re-open Notepad++ and it will be left-justified on your primary screen."

I have the same problem right now and can't for the life of me find where notepad++ is saving it's window position. Anyone have a suggestion on resetting it?
