Just installed 5.4.4 - clicked on Spell Checker Icon - got GNU Aspell and/or dictionaries not installed. Didn't see anything in NP++ that told me to download any extra software - if needed why not some heads up???
Downloaded Aspell - same error message - very frustrating...
Any advice out there??

I'd ask the author of SpellChecker, or use either of the Plugin Development forum or the appropriate forum on the npp-plugins project - I'll have to pay a call to see what sort of knowledge base they have.
