I have recently discovered the "Incremental search feature" and I think that it is very useful. However I think that there are some problems with the selected shortcut.
Currently incremental search is mapped to Alt+Space. However, in Windows, this is a system wide shortcut that is mapped to showing the "Window menu". Sometimes this is also used by some keyboard launchers (such as Launchy).
Currently, when I hit Alt+space Notepad++ shows the Incremental search toolbar. However, if you hit it again you get the Window menu. I think that this is a bit weird.
Instead I'd like to suggest that the default keyboard shortcut for Incremental search should resemble the default firefox incremental search shortcut, which is "/". This is the same shortcut as other editors, like "vi" and of the "more" unix command. Since / cannot be used "as is" in notepad++ I would like to suggest using Ctrl+/ as the default incremental search shortcut in Notepad++.
I know that I can change the keyboard shortcut very easily (and I already did), but I think that this would make a better, more standard shortcut since it is very similar to what other editors use and also does not conflict with a Windows-wide system shortcut.
Cheers,
Amadawn
