Feature Request: Light Explorer in core

    Light explorer is far better than explorer that comes with the core;  Why not include it?

    It's faster
    You can add/delete/rename etc.
    It's got a good menu selection on right-click
    It's favorites are better integrated
    It includes network places

      But it has no filter file name function.....

      I ditched Explorer for Explorer Lite.  Both still have their shortcomings, but Lite is by far the better of the two at the moment, for all the reasons listed above and more. I'm not sure that 'filter file name' is a big deal - Windows Explorer doesn't have that (just a find dialog), but the increased speed, better UI and extra features are massively important.  In fact, without Explorer Lite I would not now be using Notepad++...
