[FEATURE REQ.] Column Mode like in UltraEdit

I would like to see the column mode working similar to UltraEdit's Column Mode. Do you see any possibility to implement that feature?

  No, the column mode from Multi-Edit is much better. It lets you switch to various highlighting modes on the fly by right clicking. If you have never used it, it is WAY cool.
  
  Now, Ultra-Edit hex mode kicks Multi-Edit hex mode.
  
  If Note++ had ME's blocking mode and UE hex mode, it would be KING of the heap.
  
  Is anyone listening? (I would even pay for it if had these two features.)
