I hope I can tell you what I want to say, my english isnt the best.
I miss a feature: The icons on the top of the Notepad++-Window arent customizable.
I dont mean that I cant change the images, but I cant customize which icons I want to see and wich not.
Example: I dont need the "cut", "copy" and "insert" icons. I do that actions with shortcuts. But the icons are always in the top and cause a little bit less easy overall view
(I hope I wrote this right. For the germans: "Aber die Symbole sind immer da und nehmen jeweils ein bischen von der Übersicht über die Leiste")
I think you should can customize wich icons you want to see and wich you want to hide.

Actually, your German phrase sounds worse than the English phrases. I think, what you wrote is perfectly understandable.
I, too, think, there has to be much done about the UI: N++ has a lot of features and is a great piece of software, but often you just don't know how to use these features right.
