an ability to use various keyboard shortcuts would be great. the keys themselves should ideally be user-customizable.
an example of what to do is MEE and its shortcuts, such as:
to go to the next image/sprite, < to the previous sprite.
page down to next group, page up to previous.
hold shift+arrow keys to move the sprite in that direction, relative to the axis. one pixel per key press. so, hold shift, press left = sprite is moved to the left by 1 pixel, so its axis is no longer 0,0, but 1,0.
+/- to zoom in/out without the need of using the gui zoom.
del to open the 'delete currently viewed sprite' dialog box.
insert to add a new sprite, with additional options since nomen's sprite adding item is missing things like "image" value, position x and y, and in case of more than 1 sprite, the incrementing value in case someone wanted to add sprites that increment by 10 rather than 1.
note, the sff editor should by default focus on the sprite window rather than the group/image editor textbox for those to work right and be useful.
the first shortcut line was corrupted by sourceforge, and i can't edit it to fix it.
i meant, "> to go to the next image/sprite, < to the previous sprite."
Nice to hear you again, serio :)
Unluckly my private problems are still the sames throughout years so I doubt that Nomen can have a true future.
However... It should be fine if I will find time to upgrade Nomen to let it decode Sff2.01 (currently Nomen can't manage it)... I don't know if I will be able to add those shortcurt, but this suggestion will be added in my "to do" list for the 0.1.2 release (if I will be able to find time to make it). If I will be able to implement it, it will be surely added into the next release (if any).
PS: About the focus... I am not sure what do you mean... focusing the graphic widget will not help in any way, I fear... and I am not sure it is possible... can you explain me what kind of support do you expect from focusing? (so perhaps I can understand better your point).
Thank for submitting your suggestion.
