Hi!
I've found this great piece of software and wanted to use it with my E70 but it doesn't work. I have installed the PCSuite 6.82.22 and I'm using Thunderbird Portable 2.0.0.6
It goes till "Connect to NOKIA phone" and then displays some error and if i want to start sms tool or contact, but both do not help...
I would be very pleased if someone could help me because I would be very happy to have an alternative to Outlook...

Elsewhere advisers inform that only works with older Nokia Suites 6.82. .
Have uninstalled new version of software and replaced with 6.82. . but still the same messages

Then you can mark few or all items in the addressbook by using the context menu.
Export the items in vcf format into a folder. There you can use copy and paste to put it into the folder which is used by nokia suite.
By connection the mobilphone via usb the work is done.
Maybe, it's an help for anyone ....

Same problem with
Mobile N6151 / Nokia PC Suite 6.84.10.3 / Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (20070728)
Tried all hints to open a contact while NocSync is searching for connection.
PC Suite with Mobile works well, but NocSync gets NEVER a connection.
[Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8052ffff [nsIFileSpec.execute]" nsresult:"0x8052ffff (<unknown>)" location:"JS frame :: chrome://noksync/content/main.js :: trySMSeditor :: line 819" data: no]
I hope, someone can understand that.

Hi,
this add-on doesn't work with Nokia 6300 and Nokia PC Suite 6.85.14.1, Deutsch.
I found a workaround to export adress-books to the 6300.
At first install the add-on MoreFunctionsForAddressBook from
http://nic-nac-project.de/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html
Then you can mark few or all items in the addressbook by using the context menu.
Export the items in vcf format into a folder. There you can use copy and paste to put it into the folder which is used by nokia suite.
By connection the mobilphone via usb the work is done.

same problems with a 6288 and pc suite 6.85.14.1
too bad :(
Same problem for me with PC suite version 6.85.14.1 , nokia 6021 and thunderbird 2.0.0.9
does Someone have the solution ?
From another user (thank him very much!!):
If NokSync doesn't work....
NokSync didn't work for me (Nokia 6085). It refused to connect via Bluetooth.
But an easy workaround (I haven't tested all fields) is:
1. Export the address book from Thunderbird in LDIF format (option available in 'save as type')
2. Import into Outlook Express
3. Use Nokia PC suite to synch Outlook Express contacts
Done!
Same problem for me with PC suite version 7.0.8.2 , nokia E90 and thunderbird 2.0.0.17 Connect via Bluetooth and cable.
