In any case if you have working Mambo 4.6.x/4.5.5 with Remository 3.41 u can use the following content elements attached bellow to have your Files translated.

option is added to translate the url too, in case the added program have 2 different files for each language like FireFox.

officially I don't care any more for Mambo, this elements are tested on 4.5.5 of mambo with nokkaew 1.5.3 and on Joomla 1.0.12 with Joom Fish 1.7.

don't expect future updates of this elements.

line in {filename}.xml which have delcaration "textarea" can be replaced with htmlarea (and in this way, to use tinyMCE or your default editor for completing the translations.

It fails on Joomla 1.0.12, JoomFish 1.7 and SiteGround (Underground for me), that's why was published with TEXTAREA instead of HTMLAREA.
