NOCC Release Steps

Archives creation

1. Copy sources from Subversion into a new folder.
2. Update version number in "common.php" file.
3. Update "docs/README" file about compatibilities.
4. Update "docs/NEWS" file about version number and release date.
5. Update "project.release.version" property in "build.properties" file
6. Call "Phing prepare-release"
7. Call "Phing pack-release"
8. Find the archives in the "_build" folder

Release creation on sourceforge

1. Open File Manager:
   https://sourceforge.net/projects/nocc/files/NOCC/
2. Create new folder "x.y"
3. Upload archives into the new folder
4. Upload "readme.txt" with release notes

Update web site

1. Update "docs/NEWS" file.
2. Update "docs/FAQ" file.
3. Update "engine/page.php" file.
4. Update "download/index.php" file.

Tell the world NOCC is alive

1. Create a SVN Tag:
   http://nocc.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nocc/tags/
2. Post a Project News:
   http://sourceforge.net/news/?group_id=12177
3. Send a mail to the "Announce" mailing list
   mailto:nocc-announce@lists.sourceforge.net
4. Update Hot Scripts Page:
   http://www.hotscripts.com/listing/nocc/
