nni - [n]ni's [n]ot [i]rc / News: Recent posts

version 0.0.2 provides a working gui interface. the most basic features have been tested out using akira c/s (akira-0.0.4 is based off of a program called yachap, also on sourceforge), a command line developer testing version for nni. Although most basic features (connection and chat) in akira c/s are working, they haven't yet been added to nni.
As it stands, nni is (currently) just a gui with basic debugging features added.
programmers who are fluent in C, gtk+ and/or network protocol utilization are urged to point out mistakes, errors and implementation within the code. it would be most appreciated. i'm just starting to get everything together and a little help from more mature and seasoned programmers would be a very welcome treat for me even if the subject in the email was "you dolt! this is the stupidest design for this type of project that i've ever seen". i just hope that such harsh subject lines have a message attached that specify WHY i'm such a dolt.
