Hi,

Thank you for an absolutely cool utility, which I use a lot.

When I monitor disk and net IO, I often want to see an avg over say 10 secs, but I'd also like to see updates more frequently.

It's not the most important of changes, but some utilities allow you to select rolling avg. instead of absolute pr. interval avg.

I'd like to suggest that, however acknowledging that it may require substantial code change.

Regardless, a big thanks and appreciation for the utility. :-)

Best,
Martin

    Hi,
I would run two nmon in two different windows. One updating the screen every second and one updating every 10 seconds (started with nmon -s 10). then you can have your average at the 1 second and 10 second.
You are correct in substantial code changes and I have not had of a similar request before so its going to be a low priority.
I don't understand how a 10 second view adds values - it will just average out peaks.
If using nmon online just hitt + or minus a couple of times to see the different views.
    Cheers, Nigel

nmon simply does not keep historic data to allow this.
Just the current snapshot data and the previous snapshot.
