Hi,
Working as designed. Let me explain the thinking.
The dot it used to switch disks and top processes in a mode that only shows the busy disks and busy top processes.
Your first dot switches to that mode but as you have nothing display it would pretty dumb to stop there with you watching a still empty screen, so it switches on disks and top processes.
Your second dot switches off the dot mode and it would be dumb to make what you are watching on the screen disapper because you are probably just wanting to see all the disks and top processes now.
I hope that covers why the currect code is quite a good idea. Cheers, Nigel

Hi, Nigel, thanks for your quick answer, contrary to mine, because this thread ended up marked as spam in my mailbox, for which I blame low creditibility of sourceforge.net these days.
However back on topic, I am sorry I did not write it earlier, but there is more to this.
1) .. == Dt, not dt, I did not notice that before
2) the first dot does nothing if neither d (D) nor t is displayed
3) t.. == Dt, d.. == Dt, N.. == NDt, etc.
I would not complain if it behave as you described, but sadly enough, the AI does not work correctly for me and speaking of me, watching the empty screen after hitting the dot twice is indeed what I would expect and like to see. I consider it logical not dumb.
Regards
Jan
