Cant connect using HTTP Proxy

I am behind the University Firewall and i was really hoping for a P2P that supports HTTP Proxy.
In this case, NetMess seems very promissing but even though i entered all the necessary parameters, i always get 0 search results. It seems as if it wont even bother to look.
Now, i do get some results in the "about" screen sometimes but usually they are all blank. (Not even a 0).
Whats the meaning of this, does anyone have any suggestions please??
    Thank you in advance

Is you ForceHTTPTunneling=2 in netmess.ini set to '2' and uncommented? Try leaving system on for awhile, netmess needs to search for active nodes on network.

All fields blank may show an install or runtime problem, try to see if you have a mysql process running with netmess, if you don't there is a problem.

What is your system, win or linux ?
