I have the latest versions of NmapWin (1.3.1) and the
lastest versions of Pcap and I still keep getting an error
on 3 different machines and my 2 mates machines all
running Windows XP pro! sp1. For every search I do it
says there are no hosts up (0 hosts) and host my be
down. I dont know anyone personally that has
managed to get the new version working can someone
help!

is nmap running correctly? Try the command line version
(nmap -h for instructions). If this is not working check whether
the pcap driver is correctly installed and running (when nmap
is finished). Try the lastest pcap library/driver.

nmap, only Linux nmap is working

I have seen nmap work twice on my m8s linux boxes, and ive
seen 4 xp boxes not run nmapwin/nmap at all (all get 0 hosts
up).. perhaps its a big fake

winpcap does not work over ppp devices.... so no scan if you
connect through dsl/wan whatever... im digging through
winpcap source right now... rewriting it in c# .net 1.1
