Ok .. nmap-sql doesn't use nmapfe yet. I've thought about tweaking nmapfe so users could supply scanner_id, target_id and run_id from nmapfe. But GTK isn't my game.
Perhaps some brave soul out there will take up that task?

For some reason the Makefile requires nmapfe, the X-frontend to nmap, for this reason the GTK-DEVEL package must be installed.
FYI, the new nmap-sql 3.70 released by hatique no longer has this dependancy to build NmapFE.
NmapFE will not be made -- your system lacks the capabilities (perhaps GTK) for this graphical frontend. You can still run command-line nmap!
