#1 log to file and run in background

Hello roland your tool works well and gives me exactly the
information i want.

did you think about a "log to file and run in background"
mode, or is there a way to do so?

i would like to read this file with a php-script making
statistics about network usage on my server (gentoo
linux)

it would be nice if i can start nload at boottime logging to
a file.

i'm not an expert, so, if there's already a way to do this,
could you simply give me a hint?
