If you were having problems with the new link style, then this will fix it. Also added the feature to let users change their password ;)

It is here at last! 3.0 offers some interesting new features for the admin, but the users will find little new.

* User templates are now much faster, because they are cached in the database
* There are far less queries to the database
* Better permission system
* Admins can post articles into the db, instead of uploading & linking files.
* users can post blogs as "friends only".

Fixed:
* A _GET variable wasn't being passed when viewing some blogs
* Deleting a user now removes the comments posted to his blogs

You should upgrade to this before the upcoming 3.0.

I said that 2.4 was the last release before 3.0, but it looks like I lied. 2.5 has some new features that were needed.

Version 2.4 is now here on Source Forge. It is the last of the 2.x codeline. Work begins on 3.0, and will see a total re-code of core files. Many, many improvements will come in 3.0 such as multi-lingual, more admin controls, more email options, and much more code optomization.

Just uploaded: 2.3-spell!
This uses the amazing phpSpell script to spell check users blogs. It has some ups and downs, so check out sevengraff.com where i explain them.

Took a bit longer than I wanted

Changes:
* Config.php now holds all configuration data
* the text string %HOME% will be replaced with text from config.php, so you do not have to go through all the standard templates and replace "NewLife Blogger" with your websites name.
* Admin can edit a users profile, and ban a user for a specific amount of days
* avatar gallery is running
* avatar feature can be partially or fully disabled by changing the size value in config.php... read more

CHANGES:
*All ETS erros have been solved. If they still show up after your upgrade, login as an admin, and run the "fix ets erros" in the "tools" section of the admin CP
*RSS feed for all users. Displays last 10 public blogs. Validates for RSS v2.0
*stats.php page shows some stats
*avatars can be disabled by setting $AVCONFIG['size'] to 0 in usercp.php
*{username} tag will display the name of the user.
*updated the "tempalte help" page.
*standard templates all have links to the RSS feed

Just released version 2.1. There doesn't seem to be any bugs, just make sure you chmod the files right.

A working version of NewLife Blogger 2 can be viewed and tested by all.
