There are some unsolved issues with Turbo mode. It was something Darren and I played around with but never really finalized (or tested much). I would be hesitant to make it too easily available right now. If its something people want I can try to sort it out soon.

Turbo mode works pretty well for HDB-DOS. Would be cool to get it working on NitrOS-9 too. Adding a build option for it would make testing easier while still keeping it officially unsupported (no prebuilt disk images). What are the known issues?

was just emailing you but might as well document it. Basically, we played around one evening and made the 230k stuff work and then nothing much more happened. I didn't even know the turbo code was out in the wild, it was never "officially" released that I know of and never intended for general consumption. There are almost certainly errors and bugs in the server side, I threw that code in there half drunk. My total time in writing and using it is probably only an hour or two. I have zero faith in it. Darren's coco side code is probably top notch though.
