Is there a way to detect current flow direction?
I've noticed that even resistors are polarized, and that if I rotate a resistor 180 degree (switching +n -n) will affect the sign on current into that resistor!

Hello
Is there a way to detect current flow direction?
I've noticed that even resistors are polarized, and that if I rotate a
resistor 180 degree (switching +n -n) will affect the sign on current
into that resistor!
Any idea?
This action only changes the 'reference direction', i.e. if one rotates
all connections to a device by 180 degrees, any reported currents will
have their signs switched accordingly. The electrons/holes don't care
how
the device is labeled.
