This patch of size 2.2 Megabyte size would change the whole manual.lyx. Therefore the bibliography issue to be handled is not visible. Maybe this is due to your using Lyx 2.4 (instead of my 2.3). I decision to change to 2.4 has not been made.
This patch is therefore (currently) not acceptable.
