Insert whining at package builders who do NOT build the sfcapd.

What on earth is the point of investing the time and effort in USING a
package-based operating system (debian in this case) when arbitrary
decisions like "I personally don't use it so nobody needs it in the package"
make using a package-based OS a *complete* pain in the proverbial.

Sure there's a debian package for nfdump, but not compiling the sfcapd (NB
compiling it in breaks *nothing else* so WHY on earth would you not?) means
I *must* roll my own. If I MUST roll my own I've lost the major benefit of a
package based OS (ie that there are prebuilt packages).
