Dear all, Fresh back from a week off, I want to press ahead with some of the issues on my TO-DO list. Most notably those relating to branches (see me JISC mailinglist emails for more explanation). Testing and stable branches I've created two directories to the branches directory in the repository called 'testing' and 'stable'. In it I've placed a copy of the latest testing version of the NTVM-new called 'ntvm-new'. Note that at this time, the version in https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/stable is identical to the one in https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/testing since I haven't released (merged) the stable version of the NTVM-new yet. For those who'll already switched their version of the NTVM-new to https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/ntvm-new-testing (very good!), don't worry, it is still there. I do intend to delete it beginning next week though, so please switch to https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/stable/ntvm-new or https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/testing/ntvm-new to avoid errors. Attic branch I've also added an 'attic' directory (https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/attic) to the branches directory in the repository and have placed a copy of the obsolete ntvm and platform projects into it. The originals in the trunk (unstable) branch of the repository have not been deleted yet. I intend to do this, again, somewhere in the beginning of next week. For those who still want to have access to the old ntvm and the platform, please switch to https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/attic/ntvm or https://www.new-ties.org/svn/newties/branches/attic/platform before they are retired from the trunk branch. This will also affect some build-files as well as other integration mechanisms. I'm perfectly happy to make the necessary changes there as well but am worried that I might forget some of them. If, therefore, you know of some things that must be changed because of this, either inform me of then so I can do them, or change then afterwards yourself. Feel free to comment if some of the above is unclear. Cheers, Bart -- Dr. B.G.W. Hi everyone, This email is to inform you that a small changes in the Framework-API. A new attributed (ownerObjectID) is added to the IObjectContext. This modification should not affect existing code. Regards, Christian |
