Today it is working! The last few days I had to disconnect from my evernote account and re-connect each day after starting up the computer. Today it all syncs perfectly. I wonder if it was a problem at the evernote.com server

I often get a variation of this error message starting with the same text, "Unable to update note. Invalid note structure : :EDAMUserException: ...". In all cases that I recall, its been fixed by manually removing span tags that use Evernote IDs. Yes, it's a bit laborious! It'd be great if there's a fix.

I'm having the same problem on Linux Mint 19.3: "Dependency is not satisfiable: libhunspell-1.3-0". As far as I can tell, that version doesn't exist anymore in the repositories; currently I have libhunspell-1.6.2-1 installed. Any remedy?

Ok there is also easier workaround solution without the "sh" script I proposed before. This works both with v2.0 and v2.1 Just organize your workflow as follows: 1, do the download to "Directory1" - e.g. ~/Downloads 2, then setup "Import folders" to a subdirectory of it - Directory2 - e.g. ~/Downloads/nixnote 3, then download your files... 4, when finished, move all files from Directory1 to Directory2 - as "move" is "atomic" operation, the problem should nort occur. Eg. mark all files in ~/Downloads...

Because problem is files saved with www browser, you cannot change extension of it (at least not easily) For quick working fix would be: Timer what check import directories every 10 seconds If new file found from import directory wait 5 seconds try to import, if file dont' exists, jump out. Downloaded this morning, it works - thanks. Good stuff: using 2.0 from last year, I had a note that failed to save whenever I synced. This beta version can edit and save that note without error. I'll keep running this beta and post any other observations. PS regarding the crash I reported below. The app has a timer thread, I'm guessing it runs the periodic scheduled syncs. This crash doesn't happen unless I suspend my laptop while Nixnote is running, then re-awaken it. Even then, it only happens...

OK. I actually removed the "open note in tab" on purpose, because I found it useless and confusing :) .. but OK, I agree there can be different viewpoints/use cases, so I will restore it in next version.
The new app can't open notes in new tabs. The "Open Note in new Tab" item on the right-click menu is missing. This is a must-have feature for me, so I've reverted to the 2.0 version. You are correct, I provide only binaries for Linux (as I don't use Windows). But as the project is open source, anyone who has enough interest in Win binaries, can compile it himself (or find someone who can do it). Minor adjustment in build script will probably needed, but it should be possible quite easy. But to be honest, I don't see much point in NixNote for Windows as there is quite decent oficial Evernote client. You may be interested in another quite similar project to NixNote called Quentier...

The vicious circle you specified by robert7 / nixnote2 / releases does not have an assembly for Windows. For visitors to my site, such a program without the Russian language is not interesting. I also host programs for Windows only (Free Software). attendance of about a thousand unique visitors a day. Good luck with your project!
