At http://networkstation.aytolacoruna.es/ you will find four files,
each starting with "woody". Each contains a basic linux file system,
which should get you started.
Download one of them and unpack it to the location where your
kernel command line expects it. This should be
/NetworkStationV2/prodbase/linuxppc
in your case, if you use the kernel.1000 from the same page.
Once this boots, you have got the debian apt tools to install all
the stuff you want to (i.e. use deselect)

As far as I understand it, you can't pass arguments to the kernel,
as the firmware of the networkstation boots it and there is no such thing
as lilo, grub, bootX, colo or any other bootloader. So it is compiled into
the kernel.

remember
if it worked out of the box. But I have a working config to help you with.
