static? hah!

Ok, it has turned out that the 'static' build isn't static at all :(. So we've pulled that files. Sorry.
It's not my fault (honest! ;)), there seems to be something wrong with the configure process. If someone could figure that out and tell us that would be awfully nice. In the meantime, either install Qt-2.2.3 or compile it for yourself if you still have Qt-2.2.2.
For the SSL stuff to work you'll need libssl.so.0 (e.g. OpenSSL 0.9.x).... read more

D-Day

So today we posted some announcements, on freshmeat, linuxtoday.com and some kde sites (Spark's idea, I couldn't care less about KDE).
Well, we certainly can't complain about a lack of interest: freshmeat alone counted more than 1000 hits for the project's home page within the first eight hours. Boy, do I wish I've had had some porn banners up there *grin*.

Binary archives of 0.0.2 / home page

Well, looks like I get a hang on this SF thing *grin*.

Ok, we've got new binary archives of our latest release for you in the 'Files' section.
Remeber that you'll need Qt-2.2.*3* for the shared executable. Better go with the static, there's no real difference between them anyway. Maybe we'll drop the shared archive altogether in future releases.

I've written some files to go with the archives, they are in the 'doc' subdirectory. Please read them, they explain what we do, what works and what not and how you might help us.
The content of these files is largely taken from the rewritten project home page at http://mandragon.org/raider/. Still pretty basic (like our browser, huahua) but it should do for now.... read more

New Release 0.0.2

Hi there.
Ok, this place looks a bit plain right now, I need some time to get accustomed with all the nice stuff here ;).
As of Dec. 23, we have a new release out. Its main features include the ability to open a target in a new window via a click on the link with the middle (third) mouse button and a general cleanup of the interface.
I'm about to compile shared and static packages for all those of you who are too lazy to compile stuff yourselves. These packages will be available around Dec. 26 here as well as on the project's home server at http://mandragon.org/raider/ ... read more
