I'm not sure if the patch actually works properly. I know Sergi was able to convert some of Netnice's code to compile under Linux, but the resulting code broke the FreeBSD version (the main Netnice branch), and I don't think actually made the necessary changes for Netnice to actually work under Linux. That task would be somewhat more complex.
