NetLog (http://netlog.sourceforge.net) is a simple network traffic monitor for Linux, written in Perl. It is very easy to use and suitable for workstations and servers. It can log the traffic on different interfaces and the uptime of the controlled Computer.

NetLog has now a man page, that provides detailed information about all command line options. It is possible to show the current day or the current week with a detailed summary, and not only the current month. NetLog supports now to sort the output by uptime or network traffic and it is able to limit the output. Netlog 0.5 is released. It contains a new installation mechanism, a daily average mode for monthly and weekly view and some minor changes and bug fixes. The possibility of generating graphs has been removed. Please try it out and let me know what you think about it.
