Netflix Addict 0.4.2 has been released. This release adds several new features, including the ability to import your entire rental history from Netflix, and a warning dialog to prevent you from closing the program without first uploading any changes to your queue. In addition to these new features, 0.4.2 includes several bug fixes. The newest version is available now at http://netflixaddict.sourceforge.net

I just wanted to take the time to update everyone on the status of Netflix Addict. First I want to announce that rb216 is now a developer on the project. Most of his work will be going towards porting Netflix Addict to J2ME to enable it to run on cell phones. As well, the source for Netflix Addict is now available in the CVS repository. Thank you again for using Netflix Addict.

Netflix Addict is a Java application similar to Netflix Fanatic/Freak for MacOS X. It gives Netflix users more control over there account with features such as drag and drop re-ordering of titles in their queue and title search and addition.

Netflix Addict 0.4.1 has been released. This release adds the ability to reverse your queue or move a title to the top or bottom. It also displays more detailed info about a title, including cast and features. Read the readme.txt file for more information about this release. It has been noted that some (or all?) users have been experiencing an error where Netflix Addict displays "Series Disc" as the rating for every title. While investigating this, I have found that the Netflix website (at least for my account) is not displaying the Star Ratings in the Queue page. In there help section it states that if your Queue has 100+ titles they will not display the star ratings to reduce load times. However, I only have about 70 titles. As well, any where that I go on the website, I am finding that the star ratings are no longer displayed any where. Now after waiting a few minutes, the Star Ratings are now being displayed and Netflix Addict displays them properly. It seems that this error is being caused by an error in the Netflix website.

Netflix Addict 0.3.2 has been released. This release adds the ability to shuffle your queue or swap two titles. It also adds proxy support. Some changes have been made that may fix the History bug from the previous version. Read the readme.txt file for more information about this release. There is a bug that is affecting some users when Netflix Addict attempts to parse the rental history. I am working to fix this, but for now it can be resolved by creating a temporary history.xml file containing the following code

</history>

and change the settings so that it does not automatically update the history.

Netflix Addict 0.3.1 has been released. This release adds local storage of history and of boxart images and synopses. As well the settings editor has been expanded to supplement these new features. Please give this version a try and post or email me any bugs that you encounter. The only way that I can fix them is if I know about them.

Netflix Addict v0.2.2 has been released. This new release includes a complete rewrite of the html parsing, which should fix the bugs that users were encountering.

Just want to announce the release of Netflix Addict v0.2.1. Several bugs have been fixed and several new features have been added. Check out the readme file included with the release for more details.

Netflix Addict 0.1.3 has been released. It should fix some of the bugs that were present in the previous version.
