Hi everyone, We have two 6500s which are running IOS, with about 15.000 arp-table entries. But I don't have an idea what utilization an arnip creates on that devices. I've read in some Cisco manual, that an SNMP request may cause up to full CPU load. But SNMP-operations have a very low priority on that devices. It doesn't effect normal operation and will get a lower number of CPU-cycles while another process, with higher priority will be processed on that device.
