There haven't been any significant changes in behaviour between the last two releases of SNMP::Info, so I think you can upgrade without any side effects. For IPv6 support to work you might need to install one or two dependencies (Socket6 from the top of my head), but SNMP::Info will still run without it, only without IPv6 support.
