I don't think so..  There was talk at one time a few years back about 
integrating some type of config backup code with netdisco, but it hasn't 
happened.

We use RANCID (http://www.shrubbery.net/rancid/), but I am sure there 
are others.  It runs on Linux/unix - it uses CVS/Subversion and expect.

I don't think so.  There is a Freebsd vm, a Centos/Fedora rpm's and 
Debian packages.   Hope that helps.
