I installed Netdisco for our network this week, and most of it works just fine! We use the FreeBSD port, so it's version 1.0 of Netdisco. I installed the port and then added the PostgreSQL server and the Perl ForkManager port. I already had net-snmp installed. Discovery and the web work fine, my only problems now seem to be the netmap. At first it didn't work at all, but then I linked /usr/local/share/netdisco/netmap.gif and /usr/local/share/netdisco/netmap.svg into /usr/local/www/netdisco and got the gif part working. But on the gif page I also get this error: "File html/netmap.map is not accessable. Please run netdisco -g or use the Admin Panel." I have the file netmap.map in /usr/local/share/netdisco/html, with the same timestamp as netmap.gif and netmap.svg, so it seems to be created ok. I have tried linking it into /usr/local/www/netdisco/html and even tried copying it there, but it doesn't work. The Apache logs don't give any clues as to what is wrong. When I try the svg part I get the Function/Mouse/Keyboard header, but the rest of the page is only background colour. I get this error in Apache log: "File does not exist: /usr/local/www/netdisco/net.claribole.zgrviewer.ZGRApplet.class, referer: http://xxx/netdisco/netmap.html?t=svg" I find no information about this in the Install instructions. I found the files zgrviewer-0.8.2.jar and zvtm-0.9.8.jar and put them in /usr/local/www/netdisco, but I still get the same error. I haven't changed anything in the "graph" options in netdisco.conf. Any ideas about these problems? Thanks! -- Peter Olsson po...@le... |
