Hi, > I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to make netdisco do a ‘wr > mem’ operation on cisco IOS using snmp commands after doing a port > control operation(i.e. shutdown or turn on a port), I saw in the API > Documentation that there is a SET Method called ‘copy_run_start()’, > but I don’t know where to use it or where to add to make the ‘wr mem’ > happens. In the development version of Netdisco, a feature has been added to do a "wr mem" on all devices that have had recent "port control" jobs. There's a recent thread about this in the list archives: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=763F0E8CB13DEC4383EE9C6A6AC7B7BE010DCD2CC0%40Mailserver5.hscnet.hsc.usf.edu&forum_name=netdisco-users I know this isn't exactly what you asked, but it might be close enough to what you're looking for :) Regards, Jeroen van Ingen ICT Service Centre University of Twente, P.O.Box 217, 7500 AE Enschede, The Netherlands |
