I've poked at it a little bit, but for a different feature: setting the
port description.  The port control code isn't very flexible, and
it seemed difficult to add new job types beyond the two existing
actions (and it looks like one of those was tacked on at some point
too).  Since setting port descriptions in netdisco isn't really
required for us, I haven't found the time to pick it up again.
