Hi Carlos, > Have you checked that the MIBs are populated on all of them? I recently > realized that our c6500's showed their LLDP neighbors on the CLI, but > the LLDP MIB data was not available. I haven't for the Juniper, but I believe they are there for the others (but I best check). There is another problem with the Juniper that I discovered just after sending email to the list. The Juniper switch doesn't advertise a management address in its LLDP squawk. I'm guessing the lack of that address is why Netdisco doesn't show it as a neighbor when looking at the HP or Foundry switches. I think the problem with Netidsco not showing any L2 neighbors for the Cisco stems from a deeper architectural issue inside of Netdisco that is related to how Cisco presents LLDP info via the MIB. mark |
