Hi all
Looks like I am the only one left on this project. After we (i.e. Nick) discovered that network management has a long development history, netcontrol has been striving for some time to find its own niche, but eventually has frozen. My last idea was to bring network management to embedded / real-time devices, for which I started working on lxrtnet, lxrtnet-0.0.1 is currently available for download in the files section of this project. About a week Guennadi and I found a couple of projects that do pretty much fulfill the goals of netcontrol.
We still believe that our project can be useful and we slightly modified the target of our projects. Essentially netcontrol will now be used with embedded systems.
One other aspect of the project is the creation of (probably) several modules that will be integrated into the kernel.

Ok, I made a simple homepage. If somebody is enthusiastic... well, you know. Write the thing and I will upload it. :)

Today I submitted a detailed project description with a short list of our goals.
