But, I thought from table 3.1 in http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/2.0/htmldocs/configuration.html means /etc/passwd is still a valid location to lookup the password from. Am I correct? If so, I think I need to take a look at the source code (in case they changed something) to find out if something fishy is going on... To build openwrt with shadow support type make menuconfig and go to Base System busybox Configuration Login/Password Management Utilities and enable shadow support. |
